Three items up for sale:
* The book “Ace of Test Pilots,” by Pat Nelson. This was the book seen in Miss Shields’ desk drawer when the kids wore their fake teeth during roll call. The book has minor wear, but is in good shape overall.
* An ORIGINAL copy of Look magazine, from December 21, 1937. The magazine is in great shape, with normal page aging. Great color on the cover, and fun history inside. You can see the magazine at the beginning of the film, when Ralph runs it to his mother's bed (tucking in an ad for a Red Ryder BB Gun).
* The infamous bowling trophy/decanter, which sat on the Parker’s radio. This trophy is actually a working decanter, which has six shot glasses inside and a center pump for your favorite beverage. I have not tested the pump, but the seller told me they had used it a couple times. The gold-plated bowler is in fine shape, and the silver-tone has minimal wear.
I have been “A Christmas Story” fan for years, but a job transition is causing me to sell the items. I hope that big ACS fan takes these home!
